Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Storapedia's luggage storage booking service, including bookings made at Storapedia-operated hubs and at partner ("Mitra") locations. By completing a booking, you agree to these Terms. See also our Privacy Policy for how we handle your personal data.

1. Booking & Reservation

Bookings are made online by selecting a storage location, item type(s), and a drop-off/pick-up window. Currently, only Walk-in service is available - you drop off and pick up your items in person at the chosen location. A booking is only confirmed once payment is completed (see Section 2); slots are not held indefinitely for unpaid bookings.

2. Payment

We offer two ways to pay:

  • Pay Online - card, QRIS, e-wallet and other methods via our payment partner. Unpaid bookings made this way are automatically cancelled if payment isn't completed within 1 hour, and the reserved slot is released for other customers.
  • Bank Transfer - you wire the exact amount shown (including a unique transfer code) to Storapedia's bank account. This is confirmed manually by our team once we've matched your transfer, usually within a few hours. Unpaid bookings made this way are automatically cancelled if payment isn't matched within 24 hours.

You are responsible for transferring the exact amount shown at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by an incomplete, incorrect, or unconfirmed transfer.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Once a booking is paid, the amount is non-refundable if you cancel or fail to check in. If you don't drop off your items within the scheduled window and the booking is marked as a no-show, the reserved slot is released and the payment already made is forfeited.

4. Storage & Item Handling

At drop-off, your items are inspected, sealed with a tamper-evident seal, and logged against your booking. You will receive a digital ticket with a QR code - keep it accessible, as it (or your booking reference) is required to pick up your items. Storapedia and its partner locations take reasonable care of stored items but are not a full-value insurer of their contents; see Section 6 on liability.

5. Prohibited Items

For safety, security, legal, and operational reasons, Customers must not place or leave any of the following items in storage:

  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives
  • Flammable liquids, gases, or other hazardous materials
  • Pesticides, toxic chemicals, or substances that may pose a health or environmental risk
  • Live animals or animal-related biological materials
  • Agricultural products and perishable goods
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances that are not lawfully prescribed to or purchased over-the-counter for the Customer's own personal use
  • Cash and cash equivalents
  • Lottery tickets, stocks, bonds, money orders, gift cards, or similar financial instruments
  • Jewelry, precious stones, precious metals, and other high-value personal items
  • Sentimental, irreplaceable, or unique items whose value cannot reasonably be determined, including antiques, original paintings, or similar works of art
  • Medicines, medical devices, or other healthcare-related items
  • Passports, visas, immigration documents, or other important personal documents
  • Any other item that is illegal, hazardous, unsafe, unsuitable for storage, or may present a risk to people, property, or other stored items

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all Property placed in storage complies with this Prohibited Items Policy and applicable laws and regulations.

6. Liability

Storapedia will exercise reasonable care in handling and storing Customer's Property while it is in our custody.

Where Customer's Property is lost, damaged, or stolen as a direct result of Storapedia's or its appointed Storage Partner's negligence or failure to exercise reasonable care, Storapedia may provide compensation for the Customer's proven actual loss, subject to the limitations, exclusions, and conditions set out in these Terms.

Maximum Compensation

For the MVP Service, Storapedia's maximum liability for any single luggage item shall be limited to IDR 2,000,000 (two million Indonesian Rupiah).

The maximum amount payable is not an automatic payment. Any compensation will be assessed based on the Customer's actual and reasonably proven loss and will not exceed the applicable maximum compensation limit.

Where the proven loss is lower than the applicable maximum, compensation will be limited to the amount of the proven loss.

Exclusions and Limitations

Storapedia will not be liable for loss, damage, or theft involving:

  • Prohibited Items listed in these Terms;
  • Cash, cash equivalents, jewelry, precious stones, precious metals, or other valuables excluded under the Prohibited Items Policy;
  • Items that were not properly disclosed where disclosure was required;
  • Loss or damage resulting from the Customer's own actions, inadequate packaging, inherent defects, normal wear and tear, or the nature or condition of the Property;
  • Loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond Storapedia's reasonable control.

Storapedia shall not be responsible for any indirect, consequential, incidental, sentimental, or speculative loss, including loss of profits, business opportunities, inconvenience, or emotional or sentimental value.

Customer Claims

Any claim for loss, damage, or theft must be submitted to Storapedia within 7 days after the Customer collects or receives the Property, or within such other period as may be specified in the applicable Service terms.

The Customer may be required to provide reasonable evidence of the Property, its condition, ownership, and value, together with any information reasonably required by Storapedia to investigate the claim.

Storapedia reserves the right to investigate each claim before determining whether compensation is payable and the amount of any compensation.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

7. Partner ("Mitra") Locations

Some storage locations are operated by independent partners rather than directly by Storapedia. These Terms apply equally regardless of which type of location you book with; the location type is shown on the space's page before you book.

8. Your Information

We collect the name, email, and phone number you provide at checkout to create and manage your booking, send your digital ticket, and contact you about your booking if needed. We don't use this information for anything beyond operating the service you booked.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
